Next Week Pumpkin Patch
Today we had a great time putting together treat bags for the Wm Southern staff. Don't under estimate the impact something little like that has. These teachers LOVE getting special surprises and it goes a long way in spreading Christ's love.

July Happenings
July 11 - Play/Picnic at the spray park (McCoy park, across from Truman Library in Independence off 24 hwy), 10 am. Bring swimsuits, sunscreen, and a lunch. There are picnic tables or you can bring a blanket and/or chairs. I know a handful of us will not be able to attend so it might be a small group but certainly no less fun!
July 25 - Paradise Park. Moms are free (because it's a Monday) and kids under 1 are free, age 2 are $4.50 and 2-9 are $9. There are coupons in the 2011 entertainment book for BOGO but the website also states that the Moms Free thing cannot be combined with other coupons, so I'm not sure on how all that would work. I plan to bring coupons with me just in case. We will meet there at 10. Most of our kids will probably be doing the Edutainment Center but there are also other cool things for bigger kids - rock wall, go karts, mini golf, etc.
